Oliver Egger is a writer and editor based in New Haven, CT.

 

He is a Consulting Editor at Wesleyan University Press and an Editorial Assistant at The Yale Review.

​

His is writing is in or forthcoming in The Boston Globe, The Paris Review, The Believer, Granta, The Nation, The Point, The Drift, The Brooklyn Rail, The Provincetown Independent, The Hartford Courant, The Florida Review, Pangyrus Literary Magazine, and elsewhere.

He is received the 2025-2026 Rosalynn Carter Fellowship in Mental Health Journalism from The Carter Center, the 2023-2024 & 2024-2025 Kim-Frank Fellowship in Creative Writing from The Shapiro Center for Creative Writing and Criticism at Wesleyan University, and was selected as a 2023 Connecticut State Student Poet by the Connecticut Poetry Circuit. 

 

In addition he is the editor of several chapbook-sized anthologies of poetry from Wesleyan University Press, creator of The New Haven Magazine Library, and founder of the Route 9 Literary Collective.

He is a graduate of Wesleyan University and was born and raised in Durham, NC.
